Hardwood Floors, Done Differently

Standard Installation

The standard installation (according to the National Hardwood Flooring Association) is when the floor planks are installed perpendicularly  to the floor joists. This is the traditional installation that is typically found in most homes, and adds that classic, timeless touch to every time.

Diagonal Installation

The diagonal installation is a variation of the standard installation. Boards are installed at a 45 degree angle to the floor joists. The diagonal installation can be a more appealing alternative to running the planks perpendicularly, especially in rooms with angled walls!

Framed Borders

Framed borders create a unique border around the perimeter of the room, accenting rooms with less furniture like kitchens, or distinctive rooms like great rooms. Borders can be customized to the tastes of the individual from simple to elaborate, and everything in between!

Herringbone Installation

The herringbone design is one of the earliest and most enduring designs in wood floors! It dates back centuries, and was first installed by an Italian craftsman in the Fontainebleau palace in France. It is a style that has been continuously used in upscale designs to this day. Add a touch of class to any room, and blow all your guests away with this elaborate design!

Basketweave Installation

Another stunning addition to our gallery, the basketweave design really kicks it up a notch. It adds visual interest, impeccable style and is uniquely American. Named after the illusion of the wood planks that appear to be interwoven into a basket, we are one of the few installers in the Greater Nevada area that can make this possible!

What Materials do we Install?

Natural Hardwood

A forever floor, our natural hardwood is double air-dried and double kiln-dried to fit our dry climate. If you're going to do it, get yourself something that will last you a lifetime!

Engineered Hardwood

Real hardwood that is manufactured using multiple wood veneers, with the wear layer on top being the hardwood of your choice.

Luxury Vinyl Planks

LVP floors are actually not hardwood at all! It is simply a very thin image of hardwood, veneered to a particle board core with heavy-duty finish on top.

Stone Plastic Composite

Thicker and tougher than luxury vinyl tile, SPC floors are like LVP, except limestone is added to the vinyl, giving it a more rigid and stable core.

  • Joe McGinity

    Tahoe Resident
"I was introduced to Floorcraft by my listing agent for the rejuvenation of old growth pine flooring in my commercial building. They did the work on time and were respectful, timely and responsible. When a natural flaw was noticed after completion, Floorcraft immediately scheduled a return and repaired the issue. I find Customer Service a rarity with most companies in today's market, but NOT Floorcraft! A very refreshing experience working with this company."

    Brooklyn Joiner

    Reno Resident
"We recently had our floors resealed by Floorcraft.  We were extremely happy with their services.  I had received quotes from multiple companies and Dimitri was the only person who didn't come off as a "sales person".  He was honest and even recommended other companies in the business. After the project was done, we noticed a tiny spot that needed to be touched up and they came out within a few hours to fix it. We look forward to using them again for some other wood flooring projects.  Stop your search and use floorcraft."
